Mangrove area along the Rio Grande River

Directions: From the interection of Hwy 4 and FM511 go east 13.6 miles and turn right onto a dirt road located in a curve to the left. After rains or very high tides the road can become very muddy and you are requested not to drive on them to avoid making massive ruts or alternate routes. There are fork in the road but most head southeast toward the mangroves. A Mangrove Warbler has been seen in the second group of mangroves in the past. It is also a good place for Seaside Sparrows.
